Privacy Policy

In order to plan the future of this website, I must have some idea of the number of attorneys who find it useful. For that reason, I use “Jetpack” which keeps track of the number of visits to the site on a daily basis, but does not give me access to any identifying information about the visitors.

I use an email service called “MailChimp” to let readers know when the “Latest Posts” on the Home Page have been updated and when any other new material is available on the site. You can be added to the MailChimp mailing list only by affirmatively choosing to do so. You can limit the information provided when signing up for the mailing list, only an email address is required. As part of the service offered by MailChimp, a report is generated for each mailing showing which recipients “opened” or “clicked on” the email. There is an “unsubscribe” button in every email sent out by MailChimp which will remove you from the list. I intend to use the information gathered by MailChimp solely for my own edification to gauge the level of interest in the New York Appellate Digest website and for no other purpose.
