INSTANT PRACTICE-AREA UPDATES
SIMPLE CATEGORY SEARCHES INSTANTLY BRING YOU UP TO DATE IN YOUR AREAS OF PRACTICE
Clicking on the “All Categories” line in the Search Function (on the right) reveals the legal-category drop-down menu. Simply choose any category and click on “Search.” Every decision-summary in the chosen category, going back to January, 2013, is called up, with the most recent decision-summaries first.
Because the number of decision-summaries is manageable, because the issues addressed by each decision are succinctly stated in the summary headings, and because the summaries provide substantive, direct quotations from the decisions, reading through the most recent summaries in any category will effectively bring you up to date with what our appellate courts have been grappling with in that area of the law, much like a continuing legal education “update” course.
Pick a category relevant to your practice area and skim through the summaries, going back a few weeks, or months, or even years. You undoubtedly will learn something useful in just a few minutes.
